A region which stretches from Thornbury, Yate and South Gloucester in the North, down through Bath, on to Bristol and south to North Somerset and Weston-super-Mare. Bristol Law Society is an organisation for all legal practitioners across our south west region. It recognises that legal services are delivered by a wide range of legal professionals and its services (including legal-life.com) are intended for all legal practitioners, be they barristers, licensed conveyancers, members & fellows of the Institute of the legal executives, paralegals, pupil barristers, solicitors, trainee solicitors and LPC students: as well as those who have passed their LPC or Bar Finals and who are working in law firms in our region.

News@legal-life.com: A section complied from your feedback, views, ideas, press releases and information generally about what is going on in and around the legal firms and organisations across our region.
Social events and functions: We hope that this will become and increasingly comprehensive guide to all events for legal professionals across our region whether organised by BLS, JLD, Ilex or other groups of legal processionals.
Recruitment news and information: Provided by Rosie Torre of Bristol Law Society’s ethical, cost-effective, specialist service. This is a section for you whether you are recruiting a lawyer or looking for a job.
Training Courses: Details of courses and training arranged by Bristol Law Society usually at bargain rates.
Improved and expended leisure sections including eating and drinking reviews and great offers and discounts from selected businesses.
